Regulations for the promotion of tobacco and related products through information channels

 

According to the law on tobacco, tobacco and related products of 2016. the following rules and prohibitions must be observed:

  • It is prohibited to advertise tobacco, tobacco and related products in radio and television broadcasts.
  • The use of a trademark is prohibited when the advertisement does not involve persons under the age of 18 and it is not intended or directed at them through other external signs of the advertising image with a specific or special distinctiveness that is recognizable mainly or only by persons under the age of 18 .
  • It is prohibited to include the following products in positioning broadcasts:

cigarettes and other tobacco products, as well as electronic cigarettes and refillable containers, or products of enterprises whose main activity is the production or sale of such products.

  • Manufacturers and importers of vape devices are not allowed to make the products attractive and attractive by using enticing images or superlatives to advertise the product.
